As you
may have read on other web sites, most people who use
these radios, change the two position switch, for a
three position one, to enable the use of, rear steer,
front dig, gears or winch.
So here is how its done.
First remove the battery cover and the fixing screws.
Now open the back of the radio carefully and remove the
two fixing screws that hold the switch in place.
Time to get the soldering iron out! Desolder the three
wires from the switch, remembering which went where.
Take your new switch (same type as i used for the stick
radio) and tin the contacts.
Next reattach the three wires and insert into the top of
the old switch slot.
Position as required and fix with the locking washer and
nut.
Finaly, replace the back and battery cover.
That's it! all done and not to hard.
