Hello all, I'm new here.
I've been window-shopping for a crawler for a wee while now, unsure about what class to go for, and limited in the budget department.
It might help if I knew where there are crawler enthusiasts here - I recently spent some time on the north coast, and there are some stunning locations for crawling there.
In Fermanagh, I think it'll have to be loughside locations to get some decent rocks. |

Finally a member from NI, only took 3 years to find one
The coast road is awesome, took a tour up there with a few mates a while back, bit far and the roads around there are terrible in bad weather.
Castle Archdale on lough erne has some cracking spots too |

Really? I have a friend who put me onto the idea of crawling, he'll likely join too.
Haven't been to Castle Archdale in years, even though it's in my home county. Must take a look.
Aside from buying a kit to start, our major concern is adequate waterproofing - a necessity in this green, pleasant and rain-lashed land... |

Good to hear.
As for waterproofing, traxxas reciever balloons and some silicone sealent is what i use, hasn't failed yet.
Just waiting on my new car to arrive then i'll be heading down to archdale some time next week i hope for a crawl |

Welcome aboard. I happen to be in the Bushmills area this weekend, so hope to hit some rocks tomorrow.
My big hope this summer is to crawl the Giant's Causeway - perhaps we could make a group effort of it. |

| Giants causeway will have some chalanges, should be good if you don't get chased as it's got conservation status I think. It's a long time since iwas there but it is still a very memorable place, quite stunning. I would like to go back some day, it was mid seventies when I was there last. |
